We accidentally found this place and the food tasted so good especially the portions of them, dishes came in really big size and with patiently introduced by staff. The drinks are also fine, we enjoyed ourselves at Romeo’s and we would like to visit again.

We loved it here. It’s a retro tour de force. The menu’s out of the 80s, same with the food, but in the best way. The portions were sizeable and the ingredients fresh as. I loved my chicken scallopini. The chicken was tender and still moist, and the sauce so was a beauty. I loved the abundant veggies too and most of all I loved the baked potato in foil with sour cream. Absolutely classic and delicious. My companions loved their dishes too. My friend had the spaghetti marinara. I have never seen more seafood on one of those in my life. The service was terrific here tonight. Our main server was from Brazil and she did a wonderful job. This was a terrific experience. A really welcome trip back in time. We’ll be back for sure!

Minestrone was delicious and full of fresh vegetables and exactly what I was hoping for. The food was brought to the table very quickly which was great (not a lot of customers). Romeo’s is famous for it’s delicious old school garlic bread which takes me back to the 80’s, a must every time we visit. Cooked to perfection with buttery “real” garlic flavour not the cheap and nasty type. Was perfect accompaniment to my soup for lunch. Shared a serve of lemon/sugar crepes to finish and they were light and tasty. Consistently good, a little on the pricey side but good simple food.

Out to lunch with work colleagues, all meals were Sub par quality. Restaurant is dated and falling apart. Ordered the antipasto plate… I don’t understand why came out on my plate. Staff are polite and friendly.

Chicken risotto and hot chocolate Crêpe with ice cream are delicious. I put more salt to my risotto because I like saltier.

To be fair it was only one visit, so maybe best to take this review with a grain of salt. But the food was uninspiring. In today’s market where brilliant food can be literally had out of the back of a truck, this was disappointing. The service was fine. Overall the experience had the feeling of being in a restaurant that is nearing the end of its life. Felt dated and like it would benefit from a refresh of just about everything. The positives? The beer was fresh and cold and the toilets were very presentable.

Not a traditional or modern Italian venue. The portions are definitely larger if that is something you are seeking. Our meals felt more quanitiy over quality and felt they lacked flavour. I was going to order the gnocchi but the waitress was not sure if it was home made or not. Service was good.
